King Diamond’s New Single: Spider Lilly

“Spider Lilly” is the first single/video from King Diamond’s forthcoming horror trilogy. Part one is titled “Saint Lucifer’s Hospital 1920.“

The “Spider Lilly” video was filmed at the very haunted Pennhurst Asylum outside of Philadelphia. The filming occurred two days before Halloween. But only King Diamond (the person) and actress Jodi Cachia could participate on that specific day.

On the song, King Diamond handles lead and backing vocals plus playing the Hammond organ. Andy La Rocque and Mike Wead on guitars, Pontus Egberg plays bass, and Matt Thompson on drums. There’s also a guest appearance by Myrkur, who provides backing vocals.
