Josey Scott Responds To Saliva ‘Diss’
Original Saliva singer Josey Scott has released two singles, “Who?” and “Famous,” which appear to be jabs at Bobby Amaru, the man who replaced Scott in the band.

Last month the Saliva’s current lineup — fronted by Amaru — released, “Hit ‘Em Where It Hurts,” with lyrics apparently aimed at Scott. “‘Hit ‘Em Where It Hurts’ is an anthem about proving people wrong, not with words, but with action,” stated Amaru.
Scott, who left Saliva in ’11, said he was surprised to hear that Saliva had released a “diss track” about him. “I’m just, like, ‘This is something Rappers do, dude. This ain’t something Rocker guys do.”
Hit Em Where It Hurts
Scott and Amaru have been engaged in a long-standing feud. Amaru was quoted saying “I just feel like I see a sad man (Scott) who just has quitter’s remorse. And that’s what it feels like to me.”
Recently, Scott stated that Amaru is “treating me like I’m some kind of former disgruntled employee.”
Scott recorded seven albums with Saliva while Amaru, who has been in the band for thirteen years, has recorded four.
