Jack White Gets Halftime Gig
Jack White, who was recently inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as a member of the White Stripes, will perform on Thanksgiving Day (11/27) during the halftime of the Detroit Lions and Green Bay Packers game at Ford Field in Detroit. White is a Motor City native.
The White Stripes “Seven Nation Army” (below) is one of the most popular songs played during pro football games – as well as other sporting events.
After White achieved international fame as the guitarist and lead singer of the White Stripes, he launched a solo career releasing six albums and founding The Raconteurs and The Dead Weather.
White is also the co-founder Third Man Records in Nashville.

Also, Texas native Post Malone will hit the Thanksgiving halftime stage when the Dallas Cowboys take on the Kansas City Chiefs in Arlington, TX. And Rapper Lil Jon is set to perform the halftime show when the Baltimore Ravens host the Cincinnati Bengals in Baltimore.
Football games on Thanksgiving Day is an NFL tradition.
