A reworked version of Phil Collins’ “In The Air Tonight” was unveiled as the new theme song for the NFL’s Monday Night Football on ESPN.
The updated “In The Air Tonight” features Country’s Chris Stapleton, Rapper Snopp Dogg and drummer Cindy Blackman Santana (wife of Carlos).
“In the Air Tonight,” originally released in 1981 appeared on “Face Value,” the debut solo album by the Genesis singer/drummer.
“In The Air Tonight” has been used extensively in TV series (“Miami Vice”) and commercials for Cadbury, (candy) and Michelob (beer).
