Ghost’s “Skeletá” Is #1
Ghost’s “Skeletá” has reached #1 on the Billboard 200 chart (dated 5/10) with 86,000 U.S. equivalent album units earned in the set’s first week of release.
The band’s sixth studio album is the first Hard Rock effort to reach the top spot on the album survey since AC/DC’s “Power Up” in ’20.
“Skeletá,” “described as Ghost’s “most unflinchingly introspective work to date” follows the band’s ’22 studio album “Impera.”

The set features the singles ““Satanized,” “Lachryma” and Peacefield.”

The “Satanized” music video introduced Papa V Perpetua, who is fronting Ghost on its ’25 touring cycle.
“Lachryma;” the second single, “comes off as somewhat of a ‘typical’ Ghost mash-up, where it’s heavy on one end and met with a big, bombastic chorus,” frontman Tobias Forge told Metal Hammer. “That’s a song about self-deceit.”
