Def Leppard On The Hollywood Walk Of Fame
Def Leppard will be honored with the 2,825th star on the Hollywood Walk Of Fame on October 9th.
“Honored to share that we will receive a star on the Hollywood Walk Of Fame,” stated the band.
“None of this would be possible without YOU (the fans). Thank you.”
“The Hollywood Chamber Of Commerce is proud to welcome Def Leppard to the Hollywood Walk Of Fame,” said Ana Martinez, Walk Of Fame producer. “Def Leppard has earned a permanent place not only in music history, but now on one of the most famous sidewalks in the world.”
Def Leppard have sold more than 100 million records worldwide and have received RIAA Diamond certification for two albums, “Pyromania” and “Hysteria,” making them one of only five Rock bands with two original studio albums that have sold more than 10 million copies in the U.S.
Def Leppard’s Walk Of Fame honor was first announced in 2023.
The Walk Of Fame, which originated in 1960, consists of more than 2,800 stars embedded in the sidewalks along 15 blocks of Hollywood Boulevard and three blocks of Vine Street in Hollywood.
