Corrosion Of Conformity’s Next Album Drops In April
Corrosion Of Conformity will release their long-awaited new double album, “Good God/Baad Man,” on April 3rd.
“In my head, it’s a weird love letter to all things Rock ‘n’ Roll,” explained vocalist/guitarist Pepper Keenan. “We used that for the freedom to go in different directions. Each album is its own tiny universe and has its own identity.”
The set includes the “Southern-sludgy barnburner” “Gimme Some Moore.”
Gimme Some Moore
“As we went on, we had such a crazy plethora of songs, it was almost like two different directions,” Keenan continued. “We knew we had to split it into two different albums. Then we came up with this concept.”
Since Corrosion Of Conformity’s last album, ’18’s “No Cross No Crown,” the band went through the passing of drummer Reed Mullin (in ’20) and the second departure of bassist Mike Dean (in ’24).
They were replaced by drummer Stanton Moore and bassist Bobby Landgraf.
