Coheed And Cambria: Hometown Heroes Honored
It was “Coheed And Cambria Day” on Sunday (4/13) in Nyack, New York, the community that supported the band and gave them their earliest notoriety.
Mayor Joe Rand handed the Prog Rock band the key to Nyack during a ceremony that was followed by a brief acoustic set at the Nyack SpringFest Street Fair.
Coheed And Cambria Live In Nyack
Coheed And Cambria formed in Nyack in ’95. Claudio Sanchez (lead vocals/guitar/keyboards) and Travis Stever (guitar/backing vocals) are founding members still with the band. Josh Eppard (drums/backing vocals) was in the band from ’00 – ’06 before returning in ’11. Zach Cooper (bass/backing vocals) joined in ’12.
