Beartooth has shared a five-minute official documentary titled “Below The Surface.”
In the film, Beartooth’s Caleb Shomo discusses how the pandemic inspired the band’s ’21 album “Below” (the “darkest record in my life”) and how ’23’s “The Surface” (“bringing some new things in my life to the surface, and thankfully, those turned out to be some pretty cool things.”) reflects his efforts to make a positive change.
“‘Below’ was a little sad and gruesome,” noted Shomo. “I wanted ‘The Surface’ to be the polar opposite.”
