A decade ago, Whibley (pictured above) collapsed and was rushed to the hospital where doctors revealed his liver and kidneys had failed. He was placed in a coma for a week to help his body detox from alcohol and went on to get sober and lead a healthier lifestyle. But last year, Whibley was discharged from a hospital after being treated for pneumonia.

Mark Morton (Lamb Of God): Desolation: A Heavy Metal Memoir

The book (co-written with Ben Opiari) covers Morton’s musical career and journey from addiction to recovery.
