Atreyu Release The “Children Of Light”
Atreyu has dropped “Children Of Light,” featuring a guest appearance by former Sepultura and current Soulfly frontman Max Cavalera. The track is from Atreyu’s upcoming tenth album, “The End Is Not The End,” slated to arrive on April 24th.
“‘Children Of Light’ was created with a primal spirit in mind,” comments the band. “A ‘festival’ song. Heavily inspired by classic Sepultura, though it seemed like an untouchable ask, we wanted Max involved.”

“The End Is Not The End” was written by the band in Tokyo and on San Juan Island off the coast of Washington.
“We’d write for a few hours in the morning, then go out and get lost in all this inspiration,” recalls frontman Brandon Saller of the Tokyo excursion. “(San Jaun) was the polar opposite of Tokyo. We didn’t leave the house for four days and wrote some of the heaviest songs on the record.”

“We realized what made Atreyu great in the beginning was that we didn’t sound like anyone else,” Saller explains. “We kind of just carved our own path.”
