Metallica’s “ReLoad” Returns To Billboard Charts
Metallica’s “ReLoad” returns to Billboard’s album charts after its remastered reissue lands in the Top 10 on six different Billboard charts (dated July 11th). The four charts where “ReLoad” makes its debut didn’t exist when the album was originally released in 1997.*
The “ReLoad” super deluxe box set arrived on June 26th, 2026 and included a remastered version of the album by Reuben Cohen, live recordings, rough mixes, and demos.

ReLoad
“ReLoad,” Metallica’s seventh-studio album and last to feature bassist Jason Newsted, debuted at #1 on the Billboard 200 in ’97 selling 436,000 units in its first week and remained on the chart for 75 weeks.
In 2025, it was certified by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) for shipping four million copies in the United States.
