New Single: Butcher Babies “Blame It On The Wind”
Butcher Babies have released their new single “Blame It On The Wind.”
“There are certain nights, certain moments, and certain connections you never fully shake,” vocalist Heidi Shepard explains. “This song is about a lust you can’t leave, a denial of accountability, and a laundry list of excuses for following the white rabbit. I think sometimes we blame the setting for the choices we make because it’s easier than admitting someone genuinely got under our skin. That’s what this song is about for me.”

Butcher Babies have previously released the singles “Lost In Your Touch” and “Black Doves.” All three are from their forthcoming album.

Shepard and guitarist Henry Flury are the only original members currently with the band. Bassist Ricky Bonazza joined in 2020 while drummer Dave Nickles signed on in 2024.
