Bikini Kill Schedule Summer Tour
Bikini Kill have announced a short late summer North American tour, that launches September 6th in Portland, OR.
The band pioneered the riot grrrl movement, with feminist lyrics and fiery performances. Their “Rebel Girl” remains emblematic of the movement and is group’s signature song.

Pussy Whipped
After five major releases (two full-length albums with one split album, one EP, and one demo album), Bikini Kill disbanded in 1997. Their debut full-length effort “Pussy Whipped” was the most commercially successful,
The band reunited briefly in 2017, and then on a more permanent basis in 2019.
The current tour line-up has founding members Kathleen Hanna (vocals), Kathi Wilcox (bass) and Tobi Vail (drums) with guitarist Sara Landeau.

Bikini Kill’s music has been heard in feature films (“Moxie”) and TV shows (“Yellowjackets” and “Orange Is The New Black”).
Hanna’s memoir, “Rebel Girl: My Life As A Feminist Punk,” was released in ’24 and became a New York Times bestseller.
