Each entry has the date of release, the artist and title followed by relevant information.

10/3 Thrice: Horizons/West

The follow-up to 2021’s “Horizons/East,” contains the singles “Gnash” and “Albatross.”

“This is the first time we leaned into something that felt like a direct continuation, like a sequel to a previous album,” explained frontman Dustin Kensrue. “A lot of this record is about parsing reality,” 

Thrice has a reputation for regularly changing their sound.

10/3 Michael Schenker GroupDon’t Sell Your Soul

Schenker, a former member of UFO and the Scorpions produced the album with Michael Voss. The effort was recorded with Schenker’s longtime bandmates:  Steve Mann (guitar, keyboards), Barend Courbois (bass) and Bodo Schopf (drums).

Erik Grönwall, ex- Skid Row, handled vocals.

The Michael Schenker Group formed in London in 1979. This is their 13th album.

10/10 John 5: Ghost

“‘Ghost’ is perhaps my proudest achievement to date,” said Mötley Crüe guitarist John 5. “To me, the meaning of life is doing what you love. And this is what I love. I am surrounded by ghosts in my life and I needed to honor them with this album. It is what I was meant to do”

The set contains the previously released singles, “Fiend,” “Hollywood Story” and “Deviant” featuring drummer Stephen Perkins and bassist Bryan Beller of The Aristocrats.

10/10 Sammy Hagar: The Best Of Both Worlds Band – The Residency

The hit-filled live album recorded during his ’25 Lass Vegas residency at Park MGM, captures 19 live tracks celebrating Hagar’s catalog, including a dive into his 20+ years with Van Halen.

Hagar has sold over 50 million albums worldwide, earned a Grammy Award (1992) for Best Hard Rock Performance with Van Halen for “For Unlawful Carnal Knowledge,” was inducted into the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame (2007) and has a star on the Hollywood Walk Of Fame (2024).

10/10 Testament: Para Bellum

“‘Para Bellum’ consists of some fast, heavy and melodic tunes,” offered Testament singer Chuck Billy. “Once again (guitarist Erik) Peterson has found a way to keep the song writing fresh and modern sounding. It’s gonna be hard to choose what songs to play live cause to many to choose from.

The band’s fourteenth album, their first since ’20’s “Titans Of Creation,” features the track, “Infanticide A.I.”

10/17 All Time Low: Everyone’s Talking

The Maryland band – made up of Alex Gaskarth, Jack Barakat, Rian Dawson and Zack Merrick – will deliver their 10th studio album.

The set features lead single “Suckerpunch” and ‘The Weather,” ’which Gaskarth has described as a “cynical but playful concept.”

10/24 Five Finger Death Punch: Best Of… Vol. 2

Marking its 20th anniversary, Five Finger Death Punch have released the second collection of newly recorded versions of previously released songs. The project came about when FFDP’s former label sold the original song masters without notifying the band or providing them the opportunity to reclaim those masters.

The first single from “Best Of – Volume 2” was a version of “The End” featuring Babymetal. “I loved how my voice gradually got covered and engulfed by Ivan (Moody’s) growl, which gave me chills,” offered Babymetal vocalist Su-Metal.

10/24 Mammoth: The End

Mammoth (formerly Mammoth WVH), led by songwriter, vocalist, and multi-instrumentalist Wolfgang Van Halen, will present its third album, “The End.”

It was recorded at the 5150 studio in L.A. with produced Michael “Elvis” Baskette.,

The album’s title track landed in the Top 5 at Active Rock radio while generating nearly four million views.

10/24 Dayseeker: Creature Of The Night

“There was this idea that we’d get more and more commercial over time,” noted Dayseeker vocalist Rory Rodriguez. “But I think the opposite happened — we’re riffing more, I’m screaming more. And it feels good. It feels honest.”

“Creature In The Black Night”’ is the darker part of your conscience overpowering you,” revealed Rodriguez talking about the album’s title track. “It’s about the rush you’re addicted to that you can’t ignore.”

10/24 Soulfly: Chama

“Chama is the Brazilian word for flame. It also means a ‘calling’, commented Soulfly frontman Max Cavalera. “‘Chama’ is inspired by the energy of this moment. This record is the sound of Soulfly’s fire!”

“With each Soulfly record I’ve played on, I can feel my evolution happening in real time,” noted Soulfly drummer and album co-producer Zyon Cavalera. “I got to handle a good amount of the production for the first time. Trying to take the band to places we have never been before was a blast.”

10/24 Multiple Artists: Can’t Get Enough: A Tribute To Bad Company

Dirty Honey contributed a rendition of Bad Company’s Rock Steady” to the effort.

“Bad Company are plain and simply one of the cornerstones of Rock and Roll,” stated Marc LaBelle, Dirty Honey’s lead vocalist. “Their music has been part of the soundtrack of my life for as long as I can remember. Paul Rodgers’s voice is timeless, classic, and like a fine wine only got better with age.”

10/31 Avatar: Don’t Go Into The Woods

“It has become a necessity to me over the years to be able to answer one question: Why is this important? It can’t be just another album,” offered Avatar vocalist Johannes Eckerström. “We need to discover something, try something else. It has to come from the heart. What is being said matters.”

He concluded: “It’s all songs and concepts we haven’t been close to touch until now. The mind is wild and we have lost ourselves in the darkest woods, filled with memories, and fantasies. Forbidden thoughts that must be spoken.”

10/31 Trivium: Struck Dead EP

Trivium — vocalist/guitarist Matthew K. Heafy; guitarist Corey Beaulieu; bassist Paolo Gregoletto; and drummer Alex Bent — have delivered a three-song EP containing the single “Bury Me With My Screams.”

“What started as an idea to release one single during the tour quickly grew into two, then three, as we kept writing while we were waiting for the build-out to be completed,” recalled Gregoletto.

The set was mixed and mastered by Josh Wilbur.
