“We don’t consider ourselves a political band,” frontman Dexter Holland explained. “Being a musician, I don’t feel like a role model. I really don’t feel any responsibility to have to be that. I don’t take that on at all.”

It’s off the band’s thirteenth album, “Horizons/West,” due October 3rd. The album is the follow-up to 2021 effort “Horizons/East.”
“We can take the very thing the world has offered us as a token of hope and good luck and destroy it, and in that way, I’ve found that we often create our own ill omens,” shared Thrice frontman Dustin Kensrue discussing “Albatross.” “Thankfully, I’ve found it’s not always too late to reverse those same curses.”

Helloween: A Little Is A Little Too Much
“I wanted to write something about the last drop that causes a huge flooding — a little is a little too much,” stated Helloween singer Andi Deris. “A little is a little too much, better don’t move or don’t touch. But in the end, it is about all the minor things that get out of hand with this little bit more, and then it’s a little too much.”
The track is from Helloween’s seventeenth album, “Giants & Monsters.”

The track, from the band’s recently released “Unbreakable” album, features Tim “Ripper” Owens (KK’S Priest, ex-Judas Priest).
Soto said, “I loved this song when I was the only singer on it, but I loved it even more when we got our friend Tim ‘Ripper’ Owens to duet with me on it. It’s heavy, tons of attitude and full Metal assault!”
“One of the darker tracks from our new album,” added Ellefson.
