Tom DeLonge’s Drone Theory
UFO enthusiast/expert and Blink-182 guitarist Tom DeLonge has weighed in on the rash of mystery drones recently seen in the New Jersey sky.
“The drones that are being discussed, can hover for six hours, and then disappear once they are spotted,” DeLonge wrote on social media. “This is why it’s been hard to get facts from any U.S. Agency.”
Local and state authorities have no answers regarding the nature of the drones that are reportedly bigger than most recreational drones.
“Some of them can even move into the ocean and then back up to the air. Which is called ‘transmedium travel’;” added DeLonge. “A very hard thing to do.”
The UFOs/drones fly in formation, have red and green flashing lights, and make no sound. “There is a good chance that these things could potentially be ‘mimicking’ other aircraft,” the guitarist offered.
The White House says “the sightings to date include a combination of lawful commercial drones, hobbyist drones and law enforcement drones, as well as manned fixed-wing aircraft, helicopters and even stars that were mistakenly reported as drones. The drones do not appear to be of foreign origin.”
