New Music: Haste The Day, Underoath & Wargasm
Haste The Day: Burn
This track marks the Metalcore band’s first new music in nearly a decade having first surfaced in the ’00’s.
The group disbanded in ’11 but reformed in ’14 and released “Coward” the following year.
Underoath (pictured above): Survivor’s Guilt
“I feel this heavy guilt about making it out alive when so many of my friends didn’t,” explained Underoath’s Spencer Chamberlain. “I’ve been off drugs for seven years, and I’ve lost eight friends in 2023 alone to the same demon I was entangled with. It’s a heavy feeling to bear.
Wargasm: Circle Pit/Bad Seed
The duo of Sam Matlock and Milkie Way have released two songs simultaneously.
“‘Circle Pit’ is all about the cycle,” offered the band. “You can’t break it, so why be part of it? Get in the pit, come out to the coast have a few laughs.
“Bad Seed” is “for those that choose to make the cycle worse. People who waste time being small and hating when there’s so much to create.”
