Ghost Film Debuts
Ghost’s debut film, “Rite Here Rite Now,” had its world premiere on June 18th at United Kingdom’s Picturehouse Central in London.
“As any semi-gargantuan task, as fun as it is, it’s also draining,” offered Ghost frontman Tobias Forge. “So it feels like a giant relief because at points during the making of the film, there was definitely a sense of urgency, especially for everyone who had to answer to someone, which I guess I had to too, but I also understood the urgency of things having to be delivered on time.”
Here’s what the critics wrote…
“There is no denying that first and foremost this is a live music production, however it goes so much more beyond that” (anygoodfilms.com).
“The production itself is excellent, as everything from the camera angles, to the lighting/staging were brilliantly done” (Metal Hammer).
“‘Rite Here Rite Now’ is something special. Bombastic, sinister, and deeply emotional at points, it’s a one-of-a-kind spooky celebration for lovers of all things heavy, guided by some of the most talented creative minds in the game” (RockSound).
Further theatrical dates have been added to the worldwide launch of the film, which will now premiere in cinemas over four days on June 20th, 21st, 22nd and 23rd.
