Animal Rights Vs. Animal Wrongs: The Invasion of the Super Pigs
On the 11/27 edition of Fox News’ “Jesse Watters Primetime,” Ted Nugent was asked what can be done to stop the invasion of feral Canadian “super pigs” that are threatening to spill over to the U.S.
“I know how to handle an invasion of pigs,” offered Nugent. “You need to kill ’em and grill ’em. It’s pretty simple. If a porker gets within 50 yards of me, it’s dinner on the hoof.”
Nugent added, “you haven’t lived till you’ve hunted with Uncle Ted from a helicopter with a machine gun and killed the pigs.”
On the other hand, Doro Pesch (pictured above) has often called on fans to respect all living, feeling beings by not eating or wearing them. “I turned vegan,” said the Metal queen. “I just do it because of the animals.”
On Pesch’s recent album “Conqueress – Forever Strong And Proud,” there’s the song ‘Heavenly Creatures’ which she says is for the animals. “(The song) is one of my favorites. And I wanna do something with the song, because I love animals and I wanna support them.”
Doro filmed an ’18 video for PETA Germany attributing her strength and stamina to her healthy diet.
The “super pigs” reproduce extremely quickly and are capable of spreading disease and devastating crops and wildlife. But Sky News reports that hunting could make the problem worse, by making the pigs more wary and nocturnal, which would make them tougher to track down.
