The Beatles have an incredible catalog but, according to recently released data from kworb.net, they have had only one song cross the billion streams threshold on Spotify.
Is it the ballad “Yesterday”? No. It only has 559-million streams. Well then, it has to be The Beatles best-selling single, “Hey Jude.” Wrong again.
Obviously, it has to be a John Lennon/Paul McCartney composed song since the wrote the vast majority of the band’s material. That’s another wrong answer.
With over 1.1 billion streams (a daily average of 727-thousand daily streams) it’s George Harrison’s classic “Here Comes The Sun,” from the “Abby Road” album (pictured above) – released in 1969.
