The Tom Petty estate has settled their dispute with RR Auction over offering “allegedly stolen” property that belonged to the late singer.  The disputed items were offered to the auction house by an undisclosed cosigner.

Under threat of legal action filed last May, the items (clothes, autographed pieces and limited editions) were removed from the auction block and returned to the estate.

To show their gratitude, the estate has agreed to a select few of the belongings to be offered for auction through RR Auction.

There were no details regarding who “stole” the items or how were returned.
