The Offspring & Pennywise To Headline Punk In The Park
Offspring and Pennywise will headline Punk In The Park, a pairing of music craft beer tasting, in San Diego on November 16th.
The Offspring is often credited (alongside bands like Pennywise), for reviving mainstream interest in Punk Rock in the 1990s, They have sold more than 40 million records.
The band will release its eleventh album “Supercharged” in October. It’s their first album with drummer Brandon Pertzborn. He replaced Pete Parada who was fired in ’21 for refusing to get a COVID-19 vaccination for health reasons.
Formed in ’88. Pennywise took its name from Pennywise The Dancing Clown, the antagonist in Stephen King’s horror novel “It.”
Their twelfth. and most recent album. is “Never Gonna Die,” which dropped in ’18.
