System Of A Down At Golden Gate
Approximately 50,000 fans attended the inaugural Golden Gate Park Concerts last Saturday, (August 17th) in San Francisco. The concerts aim to make the City By The Bay a music destination.
The show marked System Of A Down’s second live appearance of the year following the Sick New World festival last April in Las Vegas. The band opened with “Genocidal Humanoidz,” which is one of their two most recent tracks that came out in late 2020.
Deftones and a reunited The Mars Volta were also on the bill.
According to organizers, 90% of the audience was from outside San Francisco.
