Springsteen Biopic Trailer Is Out

The trailer for the Bruce Springsteen biopic “Deliver Me From Nowhere” has been released. Jeremy Allen White, known for his Emmy Award winning work in “The Bear,” stars as ‘The Boss’.

The movie chronicles the creation of Springsteen’s ’82 album “Nebraska.” His sixth full–length effort consisted of song demos intended to be re-rerecorded by the E Street Band. When that didn’t pan out it was decided to release many of the songs in their original form. Critics praised the album for its rawness and individuality.

The film also deals with Springsteen’s bouts of depression.

A line in the trailer goes, “Bruce is a repairman, what he is doing with this album is he is repairing a hole in his floor… A hole in himself.”

The film is slated for an October 24th release.
