Health Issues Force Skid Row Change
Skid Row has parted ways with singer Erik Grönwall. Halestorm’s Lzzy Hale, a longtime friend of the band, will handle vocal duties for upcoming scheduled concerts.
Grönwall, who was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia in ’21, decided that the travel and rigors of the road was not conducive to his overall health and recovery.
Skid Row wrote that they were “proud of what they have created and accomplished with Erik over the past two years” and “wish nothing but the best to him and his health.
Grönwall was Skid Row’s fifth vocalist in their three decade-plus career. Sebastian Bach was the band’s original singer.
