Select January Album Releases: Tremonti, Hellacopters, G3 & All That Remains
The artist, album title and release date are listed.
Mark Tremonti – The End Will Show Us How (January 10th)
The Creed/Alter Bridge guitarist’s sixth solo album includes “One More Time.”
“When I came up with the opening riff, it really solidified the song. Now, it’s one of the heaviest tracks on the record,” explained Tremonti
The Hellacopters – Overdriver (January 31st)
The set features the track “Leave A Mark” which unites two styles that The Hellacopters have utilized over the course of their 30-year career — the full-blown guitar assault with an anthemic, hook-laden approach.
G3 – Reunion Live (January 31st)
Featuring guitarists Joe Satriani, Eric Johnson and Steve Vai, the set documents G3’s sold-out ’24 U.S. tour where each guitarist performed a set followed by an encore jam session that included “Crossroads” (below).
“Reuniting with Eric and Steve (last year) commemorating the very first G3 tour of ’96, was nothing short of glorious,” enthused Satriani. “They were the first two guitarists I called when planning G3’s maiden voyage, so, this reunion was a confirmation of our special connection.”
All That Remains – Antifragile (January 31st)
The Metalcore band’s tenth studio album is their first without founding guitarist Oli Herbert, who died on 10/17/18, and longtime drummer Jason Costa, who left for personal reasons in ’23 after fifteen years with the band.
It also is the first album to feature lead guitarist Jason Richardson and drummer Anthony Barone, plus the return of bassist Matt Deis who performed with the band between ’03-’05.
All lyrics were written by vocalist Phil Labonte and album producer Josh Wilbur with all music composed by All That Remains.
From the album are the singles “Divine” and “No Tomorrow.”
