Metallica Helps The Homeless
People Serving People, a Minnesota organization that provides services to people and families experiencing homelessness, announced (on 8/19) that Metallica has donated $40,000 to the charity through the band’s All Within My Hands foundation.
The donation came after the band visited Minneapolis. “For us, it’s really, really exciting to be recognized like that,” said People Serving People’s Amanda Finman-Palmer. “Clearly, they did some research and thought, This organization is doing some really exciting stuff.”
