Metallica Guitarist Unveils His “Collection”
Metallica’s Kirk Hammett in partnership with Gibson Publishing has released “The Collection: Kirk Hammett”, available in three premium formats in The Metallica Store.
There’s the 400-page coffee table edition ($799.99 – sold out), a Deluxe Edition ($299.99) is limited to 1,500 signed and numbered copies and a Standard Edition (149.99).
“I’ve worked diligently on this curated collection of vintage and modern guitars for the book,” enthused Hammett. “I feel the book captures the rich history and artistry behind each of these unique and rare instruments. Every picture tells a story.”
Hammet joined Metallica in ’83 and made his studio debut with the band on the “Kill ‘Em All” album.
