“I’m Not Broken” – A Melissa Etheridge Documentary Is On Paramount+

Melissa Etheridge is the subject of a two-part docuseries, “I’m Not Broken,” now on Paramount+.

The film centers around a show Etheridge played at the Topeka Correctional Facility in Kansas, as well as the bond she formed with five incarcerated women who sent letters to Etheridge. Those letters were the inspiration for a song that also drew on the death of Etheridge’s own son from opioid addiction.

“I’m Not Broken” premiered last month at the Beacon Theatre as part of the Tribeca Film Festival.
