Kittie’s Comeback Album Drops
“Fire,” Kittie’s seventh studio album, but first in 13 years – since the release of “I’ve Failed You” (’11), has dropped.
For over a decade the band was on a hiatus due to rising costs associated with touring/recording and the suicide death of bassist Trish Doan in ’17.
They ended their hiatus in early ’22, with bassist Ivy Jenkins returning to the lineup.
Kittie appeared at festivals before unleashing, “Eyes Wide Open,” which dropped last February. “Fire” also includes “Vultures” and “We Are Shadows.”
“It feels like something deeper than fate that’s brought us together again, allowing us to create something fearless and magical,” explained vocalist/guitarist Morgan Lander. “We’ve worked incredibly hard over the past year and surrounded ourselves with the ultimate dream team to make this album a reality.”
