Gene Simmons Has The Key
KISS bassist/vocalist Gene Simmons was awarded a “Key To The City” of Niagara Falls, NY, along with a downtown street temporarily named in his honor.
In an August 18th ceremony Mayor Robert Restaino of Niagara Falls and Mayor Austin Tylec of North Tonawanda presented Simmons with a Key for both municipalities.
As part of the event, a Niagara Falls street was temporarily renamed Gene Simmons Boulevard acknowledging Simmons’s investment in the local business community through his partnership with Niagara Falls-based Rock Steady Sodas, which has produces Simmons MoneyBag Sodas, since 2017.
