Iron Maiden’s Bruce Dickinson Meets The Singer He Replaced

Iron Maiden’s Bruce Dickinson has finally met the singer he replaced, Paul Di’Anno, for the first time in Croatia.

Dickinson, promoting his solo album, The Mandrake Project,” performed on 7/13 in Zagreb, where Di’Anno has been receiving physiotherapy treatments after undergoing major knee surgery nearly two years ago.

Di’Anno was ushered out of Iron Maiden because “his vocal abilities weren’t up to par” so Dickinson was installed in ’81. Dickinson’s first album with the band came the following year. “The Number Of The Beast” sold almost 20 million copies worldwide.

An Iron Maiden fan, Stjepan Juras (pictured center above with the singers), arranged the meeting.
