Crossfade Returns For Festival Dates

Crossfade will play their first shows since 2012 when they perform at the Sonic Temple and Inkcarceration festivals in Ohio next year.

Founding members Ed Sloan (pictured) and Mitch James are confirmed for the festival dates, along with guitarist and keyboardist Les Hall, who joined the group in 2006.

While they technically never broke up they have been inactive for over a decade.

Years ago, a heater caught on fire and burned down their entire studio (all of the equipment, songs in the works and merch were lost). “That was a quick way to say, ‘Well, I guess we’re done for a while’,” noted Sloan.

“It feels like we’re just starting brand new,” Sloan noted. “Almost like it was back in 1997 when we didn’t have a record, didn’t have a record label, we weren’t playing shows — and that’s where we find ourselves right now…:
