Buckcherry’s Josh Todd Says Without His Sobriety He Would Have Nothing
Buckcherry frontman Josh Todd has been sober for nearly 30 years and discussed the positives during a recent interview with Australia’s Heavy magazine.
“I wasted so much of my young life where you’re bulletproof, where you’re at the top of your game, you’re the best you’re ever gonna be — your body, your mind, your instincts, your voice, everything,” said the singer. “And I was dedicating so much of my time to drinking and using, which I wish I wouldn’t have.”
Todd, who will reach the 30-year sober mark this November, sees the difference it has made. “Hands down, I’m more creative. I get more done. It’s my greatest asset, my sobriety. Without it, I have nothing.”
