Buckcherry Unfurl “Roar Like Thunder”

Buckcherry’s eleventh studio album, “Roar Like Thunder,” has dropped.
The set was recorded last November in Nashville with producer Marti Frederiksen, who has history with the band co-writing the Top 10 hit “Sorry,” co-producing with Buckcherry the ’08 album “Black Butterfly” and co-writing three songs with frontman Josh Todd (pictured above) and guitarist Keith Nelson for ’13’s “Confessions.”
Todd noted that Frederiksen “understands what’s special about Buckcherry, bringing out those elements in us.”
Guitarist Steve Dacanay (a.k.a. Stevie D.) also discussed working with Frederiksen. “We’ve done some stuff, sonically and musically, that’s been really great, And I love the process. It’s such an inspiring kind of environment.”
Buckcherry’s “Hellbound” (’21) and “Vol. 10” (’23) were also produced by Frederiksen.
“Roar Like Thunder” has the title track and “Come On.”
