Just in time for Christmas, a deluxe reissue of The Black Crowes‘ second album, “The Southern Harmony And Musical Companion,” has arrived.

Released in ’92, the original album was the first effort to feature guitarist Marc Ford, who replace Jeff Cease, and keyboardist Eddie Harsch. It topped the Billboard 200 and has sold over 2,000,000 copies.

The album’s name was derived from the full name of an influential 1835 hymnal compiled by William Walker.

The reissue includes previously unreleased studio recordings, rare B-sides and a live performance from ’93 at Houston’s Sam Houston Coliseum.
