Alice In Chains Guitarist To Launch Solo Tour

Jerry Cantrell (Alice In Chains) has announced a solo North American tour in support of “I Want Blood, which arrives on the 18th. Filter (Alt. Rock, Industrial Rock, Post Grunge) will support on all dates.

“This record (“I Want Blood”) is a serious piece of work.” stated Cantrell of his fifth solo effort. “There’s a confidence to this album. I think it’s some of my best songwriting and playing, and certainly some of my best singing.”

Co-produced by Cantrell and Joe Barresi (Tool, QOTSA) and recorded in Pasadena, CA the set features bassists Duff McKagan (Guns N’ Roses) and Robert Trujillo (Metallica).

Tickets go on sale on October 18th with an exclusive artist pre-sale starting Wednesday, October 16th.
