Albums In The Works: Linkin Park, Halestorm & Shinedown

The big news last week was the Linkin Park reunion. Two shows (in L.A. and New York) sold out in a matter of minutes. With new members, vocalist Emily Armstrong (pictured above) and drummer Colin Brittain, the band will release “From Zero” on November 15th. It’ll be Linkin Park’s first full-length effort since ’17’s “One More Light.” The set features “The Emptiness Machine.”

While not as far along as Linkin Park, Shinedown is writing material for their next album. “The plan is to release some music this year, and then (a full-length) record probably early spring of next year… and start touring March of next year,” stated drummer Barry Kerch. “I mean, we’re not slowing down.”

Halestorm plan to have their next album finished in early December. “We’ll probably be pushing something out a little sooner than that, hopefully,” Lzzy Hale (pictured) offered. “We’ve really kind of taken the time to really let the music tell us what to do and honestly let our weird brains tell us what to do.”
