Foo Fighters London Show Has A Swift Error
“Never criticize or make a joke at Taylor Swift’s expense,” should be a showbiz axiom. Violate that rule and you will suffer mightily.
Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl (pictured above) found that out over the weekend in London where both the Foos and Swift were performing. Swift is currently on her hugely successful “Eras Tour.”
On Saturday (6/22) Grohl told his Brit audience that he called his band’s show the “Errors Tour” because they’d had a “few more eras and more than a few f***ing errors” because “we actually play live.”
The following night during her Wembley show, also in London (with Paul McCartney and 90,000 fans in the audience), Swift seemingly responded. “The band that’s going to be playing live for you for three and a half hours tonight. They deserve this so much and so does every one of my fellow performers, and you just gave that to us so generously.”
Of course, Swifties fired back at Grohl for his joke about Swift and her band.
“Oh Tayvoodoo is coming for him and he deserves it,” one person wrote on X/Twitter.
“Can’t handle that a woman is more talented and successful,” posted another.
“Embarrassing thought he (Grohl) was better than that.”
