Oasis Wants To Shut Down Resellers
In the wake of Oasis’ announcement that they will be touring England and Ireland this summer resellers have had a field day increasing concert ticket prices.
Oasis reunion tickets have been offered for as much as $8,000 on resale sites.
The band, primarily Noel and Liam Gallagher (pictured), warned any sales that turned out to be illegal would be canceled.
Official prices for the 17 scheduled U.K. and Ireland concerts range from about £70 to £200 ($90-260) for seats, about £150 ($200) for standing and around £500 ($650) for premium packages.
Tickets began appearing on third-party dealers’ pages soon after the three-hour pre-sale window for official purchases closed last Friday.
The U.K/Ireland tour launches in late July. Then, Oasis could possibly venture to the European continent and North America,
