No Doubt Ends Hiatus At Coachella

No Doubt ended their nine-year hiatus with a main stage Coachella set on Saturday (4/13). Frontwoman Gwen Stefani (pictured above) and band rolled out favorites including “Just A Girl,” “Don’t Speak” and “Hella Good,” backed by a brass ensemble.

The band performed a rendition of “Total Hate 95,” a song they recorded with the late Sublime singer Bradley Nowell — whose band resurfaced earlier in the day with Nowell’s son, Jakob, fronting.

Also, Olivia Rodrigo joined No Doubt for a rendition of “Bathwater,” from the “Return Of Saturn” album, which Rodrigo said was a major influence on her songwriting.

No Doubt have not released an album since ’12’s “Push And Shove” and before Coachella, their last performances were in ’15.

It’s unclear if the Coachella show was a one-off appearance, or if there will be additional shows in ‘24.
