Boardwalk Fest Loses Mötley Crüe
Mötley Crüe have backed out of the upcoming Boardwalk Rock Festival in Ocean City, MD on May 17th. Frontman Vince Neil is still recovering from a recent required medical procedure. He has been “advised by the doctors” not to perform at this time.
Last month, the band postponed a planned Las Vegas residency until September.

In a statement the band said, “Vince’s health comes first, and we fully support him in prioritizing his recovery.”
Mötley Crüe and Def Leppard were slated to co-headline the May 17th date. Alice In Chains will fill the slot. Halestorm, Bush, Chevelle, Flyleaf with Lacey Sturm and Mammoth WVH will also be performing on the two-day festival’s opening night.
