Linkin Park’s “The Emptiness Machine” Tops Rock Charts
Linkin Park’s “The Emptiness Machine” is #1 on Billboard’s Alternative Airplay and Mainstream Rock charts, dated October 5th.
Linkin Park now has thirteen #1s on Alternative Airplay, tying Green Day for the second-most in chart history. Red Hot Chili Peppers have fifteen #1s on the chart. “The Emptiness Machine” is also the band’s eleventh #1 on Mainstream Rock Airplay.
“The Emptiness Machine” is the lead single from “From Zero,” Linkin Park’s eighth studio album, due November 15th.
It’s the band’s first full-length effort with co-singer Emily Armstrong and drummer Colin Brittain (replacing the late Chester Bennington and drummer Rob Bourdon).
