KISS Returns To Wrap It Up
After canceling three shows (Ottawa, Toronto and Knoxville) on the “End Of The Road” farewell tour due to Paul Stanley’s bout with the flu, KISS returned to the stage Saturday night (11/25) in Indianapolis.
“I’ve done shows with cracked ribs, I’ve done shows with a fever,” stated Stanley (pictured). “I was wondering if it was my time. But anyway, I’m here and it’s awesome.”
The band will conclude their “End of the Road” tour on December 2nd at New York’s Madison Square Garden.
Formed in ’73 by Stanley, Gene Simmons, Peter Criss and Ace Frehley, KISS staged its first “farewell” tour in ’00. It was the last to feature the group’s original lineup.
The current KISS line-up has Stanley, Simmons, guitarist Tommy Thayer and drummer Eric Singer.
