Girlschool’s Final North American Trek Is This Autumn

Girlschool will embark on the last leg of their final North American tour this autumn.

“The cost of visas, flights, internal transport costs, the logistics… and the distance between the cities means that this truly is a ‘Once more for the American fans’ series of dates… in order to say goodbye,” writes the band.

The long-standing female Metal band toured the U.S. earlier this year.

“The hoops to jump through for a U.K. band to tour the States are multiple and enormous. So even if you have to travel a little to make it to a show, we’d be happy to see you there, one last time!”

Girlschool Tour Dates:

Oct. 16 – Dallas, TX @ Tulips
Oct. 17 – Austin, TX @ Lost Well
Oct. 18 – Austin, TX @ Lost Well
Oct. 24 – Portland, OR @ Dante’s
Oct. 27 – Vancouver, BC @ RickshawTheatre
Oct. 29 – San Francisco, CA @ DNA Lounge
Oct. 30 – Los Angeles, CA @ Belasco

Original members Kim McAuliffe and Denise Dufort are still in the band but original lead guitarist Kelly Johnson died of cancer in ’07 and was replaced by Jackie Chambers in ’99.

In January ’19, the band parted ways with bassist Enid Williams, making way for the return of Tracey Lamb (’87-’91 and ’93-’00) completing the band’s current lineup.
