Classic Rock acts performers are on this year’s Pollstar survey of the top touring acts.
Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band land at #5 on the tally grossing $251-million) with the Rolling Stones checking in at #6 earning $235-million – all from the “Hackney Diamonds” U.S. trek giving the Stones the top grossing North American tour.
Metallica (pictured) holds the #9 slot grossing $179.4 million from 1.5 million tickets sold at 24 reported concerts.
Taylor Swift’s “Eras Tour” is #1 on survey with international revenues in excess of $2-billion while Coldplay’s “Music Of The Spheres” worldwide jaunt sold over 10.3 million tickets — the most by any artist on a single tour.
