Avatar Is “In The Airwaves”
Avatar have released the official music video for their new single, “In The Airwaves.”
“This is the fastest song we have done in what seems to be an eternity, and it feels good to push the engine to the max again,” commented the band. “In a way, it feels like a return to something. Enjoy our rage.”
The video was helmed by longtime collaborator Johan Carlén, a freelance photographer and filmmaker.

Avatar’s upcoming tenth studio album is expected later this year later in the year.
“I think certainly there’s a risk of taking things for granted… it can be harder and therefore more important than ever the further you go to find a reason, why is this important to us right now,” offered vocalist Johannes Eckerström. “What do we wanna put on there that we are really passionate about right here right now? And I think we nailed that.”
