New Music: Spiritbox, Ded, Crossbone Skully (featuring Nikki Sixx), Atreyu & Marilyn Manson
Spiritbox: Soft Spine
The Canadian Metal band was established by guitarist Mike Stringer and vocalist Coutney Laplante in ’17. The full lineup includes drummer Zev Rose, and bassist Josh Gilbert.
Ded: Rockstar
“In a way, our new song could serve as the ‘anti-rockstar’ mentality anthem,” says vocalist Joe Cotela. “I am personally drawn to and enjoy genuine and authentic music created genuine and authentic people. Music is sacred to me. I respect it and appreciate it too much to watch it be exploited and used cheaply like it is sometimes by certain people with cringe vibes.”
Crossbone Skully (featuring Nikki Sixx): High On You
The track is from the band’s upcoming debut album “Evil World Machine,” due November 22nd.
“Crossbone Skully is doing something visually unique while blending kickass riffs and great songwriting with this project,” says Mötley Crüe bassist Nikki Sixx.
Atreyu: Mary Jane’s Last Dance
The song is on the upcoming “The Pronoia Sessions,” a collection of eight reimagined hits and two nostalgic tribute covers.
“This (Tom Petty) song is a classic. Pure and simple, stated frontman Brandon Saller. “This is us, again, trying to breathe new life into an already legendary song.”
Marilyn Manson: Sacrilegious
The song is on Manson’s twelfth album, “One Assassination Under God – Chapter 1,“ which is slated to drop November 22nd.
