Bruce Springsteen’s “Born In The U.S.A.” is #1 on the Billboard 200. The set features the title track, “Glory Days” and “Dancing In The Dark.” 1984
David Lee Roth (Van Halen) releases “Eat ‘Em And Smile.” His debut solo set sells over 2-million copies in the U.S. 1986
Bon Jovi’s “Lost Highway” drives straight to the #1 on the Billboard 200. It moves 288,000 copies in its debut week, well ahead of the White Stripes “Icky Thump,” which sells 223,000 units to land at #2. 2007
Stone Sour’s “Hydrograd” debuts at #8 on the Billboard 200. It’s their 5th straight Top 10 effort. It’s also #1 on the Top Rock and the Top Hard Rock charts. 2017
Iron Maiden receive a gold disc in recognition of “Senjutsu” selling over 100,000 physical copies in the U.K. The presentation is made during the first of two sold-out shows at London’s O2 Arena. 2023
